Congratulations to the UPD Institute of Civil Engineering college students for completing the NCTS Internship Program and for their presentation of learnings and experiences here at the Center! The Culminating Activity was held on August 14, 2025 at the ITS Conference Room. The students stayed at the NCTS from June 23 to July 28, 2025 and completed two hundred (200) hours of work. They were assigned at the Traffic Engineering and Management (TEM) Group.
The event was hosted by Ms. Maribelle Lobendino, NCTS REPS and Student Affairs Coordinator, and was attended by NCTS Director Dr. Jun Castro, who delivered the welcome remarks, along with other NCTS personnel.
The NCTS Internship Program provided the students with practical experience in conducting research, producing knowledge products, and becoming familiar with the various career paths within the engineering industry. Additionally, as learners, they have developed competencies, work ethics, and values relevant to pursuing further education and entering the workforce.
