Professors from the Civil Engineering Department of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) visited their students currently undertaking internships at the UP National Center for Transportation Studies (UP NCTS) on August 28, 2025.

The visit aimed to gather insights on the students’ internship experience and to discuss their tasks and learnings at the Center.

Six students are deployed at NCTS this semester. Four (4) are assigned to the Training Group, while two (2) are with the Transportation, Environment, and Energy Group. Supervisors from both groups joined the activity to provide feedback, alongside the NCTS Director and Student Affairs Coordinator.

The professors commended their students’ performance and expressed appreciation for their accomplishments, as highlighted by the feedback from NCTS supervisors.

The internship program is set to conclude by the third week of September 2025.
