The Director, who is appointed by the Board of Regents of the University, is responsible for the administration of the Center. Their duties include the day-to-day operations of the Center. They see to it that plans and programs of the Center are implemented. The Director also heads the Center’s Management Committee (MANCOM) together with the heads of the research laboratories or groups.
