The National Center for Transportation Studies (NCTS) welcomes one (1) Doctoral student from Harvard University, to undergo an internship. The student is majoring in Business Economics.
On July 14, 2025, Ms. Maribelle Lobendino, NCTS Research, Extension and Professional Staff (REPS) and Student Affairs Coordinator, conducted an orientation for the intern. The session outlined expectations, guidelines, and the specifics of the internship, scheduled to run from July 14 to August 18, 2025. The student is assigned at the Traffic Engineering and Management (TEM) Group.
A courtesy call with Dr. Jun T. Castro, NCTS Director, was held on July 31, 2025, to formally welcome the intern.
The NCTS, through its Internship Program, aims to provide practical experience in conducting research and producing knowledge products. Additionally, it aims to develop the learners’ competencies, values, and work ethics.
