The UPNCTS and Honda Safety Driving Center (HSDC) discussed road safety programs during a meeting on March 28, 2023, at the UPNCTS ITS conference room. Mr. Lomibao, the Department Manager of Driving/Riding Safety Promotions (DSPC) and Road Safety Committee Chairman of MDPPA, along with his team, represented HSDC.

The meeting agenda included:
1. Road Crash Data Collection and Analysis
2. Possible partnership and collaboration on Road Safety Program
3. NCTS primary role and collaborations (what can Honda do to help)
4. Existing training program offered by NCTS
5. Ongoing studies of NCTS

The Honda team also shared information on the following:
1. Honda Safety Strategy
2. School partnership program
3. One Honda Road Safety Campaign (Road Safety for Our Family)
4. Honda Safety Driving Center (HSDC) – AVP

UPNCTS and Honda are dedicated to enhancing road safety and minimizing road crashes. The two entities agreed to look into possible collaborations to achieve this goal and are optimistic about a productive partnership ahead.
