Dr. Jose Regin Regidor, UPD Institute of Civil Engineering (UPD ICE) Director and Engr. Aileen Mappala, UPD Transportation Management Office (UPD TMO) Director, were interviewed by the Philippine Collegian regarding causes of vehicle congestion in Katipunan Avenue. According to these experts, private cars are the main culprit of vehicle congestion as well as lack of bicycles, jeepneys, and long-term planning by the MMDA.
