From April 22 to 26, 2024, the UP National Center for Transportation Studies conducted the Level 1 training program on Traffic Management for Traffic Law Enforcers at the Toyota Training Room of UP NCTS, aimed at enhancing the capabilities of traffic Law Enforcers in managing traffic effectively and ensuring road safety. Attended by 43 participants from various local government units and institutions nationwide, including Baybay City, Cagayan de Oro City, Cebu City, Iba, Zambales, Ligao City, Mandaue City, Muntinlupa City, Palayan City, Quezon City, San Fernando City, San Juan City, Taguig City, Land Transportation Office and Sarelle Engineering Consultancy. The program focused on imparting essential knowledge and skills in traffic management, traffic laws and regulations, road crash investigation, traffic signs and pavement markings, traffic citation administration, traffic direction and control, traffic administration and road safety. Through interactive lectures, practical workshops, and field demonstrations participants emerged equipped with enhanced competencies and a renewed commitment to fostering excellence in road safety and traffic management within their respective communities.
